Police Department
The Kersey Police Department is located in the rear of the Town Hall Complex. The Kersey Police Department is staffed by 5 full time police officers. The department operates with a Chief of Police, Patrol Sergeant and three Patrol Officers. The Town of Kersey and Kersey Police Department also has an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Platte Valley School District to employee a School Resource Officer.
The Kersey Police Department handles approximately 5,000 calls for service annually. The department maintains a fleet of 5 vehicles. Officers in the Department operate on a 12-hour schedule providing maximum coverage of the Town of Kersey, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
