During the ceremony, Sheriff Weekly delivered a powerful message to the graduates: “You have a responsibility to raise the bar for our profession, and to do the job right. You must represent your agencies at the highest level. You must learn every single day you come to work—whether it’s in the classroom, on a call for service, or in the courtroom. Perfect your craft. Train like your life depends on it..because it does."

To every new deputy and officer: welcome to the profession. Your service matters. Your commitment matters. And your communities stand behind you as you begin this important and honorable path.

Congradulations on your new job of protecting our family children. Even if your not a parent think "protective parent" like and always, always, always protect our public school children at school and at home as if your own! Watch for the RED FLAGs of a child calling out for help and make sure that is not covered up by the ones who want that covered up! I was juat speaking to an law officer in your department about this today!
